The Arts

Often students create art just for a grade. Add a spark to their motivation and have them enter their work in many art contest and have the best entries displayed and you have a treasure. Starting this year, Orbit will invite students, each grade level/age group 3-13 from different Girl Schools, to enter our Girl Student Art Contest by submitting artwork based on different themes. OGS,  challenges students to design their own concept– and then interpret that idea into an original work of visual art (drawing, painting, mixed media or digital). The contest is open to students in three grade level/age groups. Limit of one (1) entry per student. Each student may submit one original artwork in any of the following acceptable Media/formats: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media or Digital Art.

We Hope to..

• showcase up and coming young artists' work, on the OGS website - to leaders of the art world, as well as the general public
• promote the work of  Girl schools
